The Ambassador of France to the United Kingdom, Her Excellency Madame Sylvie Bermann, will present at the University of Glasgow on "The Strategic Partnership between France and the United Kingdom".

The lecture will be held in the Senate Room, Main Building at the University of Glasgow (University Avenue, Glasgow, G12 8QQ).

Doors open at 9.30am, lecture starts 10am with questions and answers until 11am.

In an increasingly dangerous and unstable world France and the United Kingdom retain global responsibilities and security challenges.

Both permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, major strategic powers and players in Europe and the world, the French and British ministers of Foreign Affairs and ministers of Defence will have just discussed in London on the 12 February 2015. In this context the Ambassador of France will provide an insight into their partnership.
